Junior School
In Junior School, the LifeReady Program is more than a scheduled subject or checklist of skills. The program focuses on teaching, refining, and nurturing character traits inherent in a well-rounded human being. We coach, mentor, and develop relationships with all students and staff to create a caring and cohesive learning community. The InnovOak difference means that we are purposeful, thoughtful, and creative in our efforts to develop well-rounded young people who will make their parents, and our school, proud.
Our teaching and guidance staff become life coaches for each student. They help students as they transition from year to year and grade to grade. Just like an extended family, everyone plays a caring and supportive role in helping each child be the best they can be. Our staff are invested in our students and dedicated to supporting families while the students are with us. We maintain open communication with our parents; we observe, guide, and take the time to get to know each student on a personal level so we can provide the best support and encouragement possible.
Our goal is to ensure that your child has the social/emotional skills they need to venture into their teen years with confidence, resilience, and a positive mindset. Growth comes from nurturing, self-awareness, goal setting, feedback, and encouragement.
School is a big part of your child’s formative years and we work to ensure every moment is a positive learning and growing experience. From trying new things and learning how to get along with peers, to building strong friendships and managing stress. We support your students as they grow and develop from curious kinder to amazing pre-teen.
LifeReady doesn’t happen incidentally. LifeReady leads our conversations when we meet parents, when we plan our programs, and when our teachers create meaningful individualized programs for each child. LifeReady in Lower School builds a solid foundation, giving students an advantage in learning, for life.
