Our comprehensive wrap-around program at InnovOak School ensures that every student receives the support they need to thrive academically and personally. With a focus on collaboration, specialized roles, and genuine care for students, our staff members work together at all times to ensure each child's success. We take a holistic approach, considering each student's journey from their first day of Kindergarten to graduation, providing parents with peace of mind knowing that we are committed to their child's long-term development.

Building strong connections and relationships is a priority for all our teachers. Through collective group activities and nurturing initiatives, students not only bond with their own teacher but also with all teachers across Lower and Middle School. This sense of community fosters a supportive learning environment where every student feels valued and understood. Additionally, each student is assigned a trusted adult who tracks their progress, addresses their needs, and nurtures their aspirations throughout their years at InnovOak.

In Lower School, we track students' literacy and numeracy skills to ensure that they receive the appropriate level of challenge and support. Our teachers work diligently to help students progress and grow, while also keeping parents informed about their child's development every step of the way. Meanwhile, our Guidance Coaches play a pivotal role in motivating and engaging students in their learning journey using a skilled coaching model.

Our wrap-around success approach extends beyond academics to encompass InnovOak Learning Skills and overall growth and development. This includes goal setting, planning, and mapping success markers, preparing students for the transition to Upper School and beyond. Our Guidance Coaches provide support not only for LifeReady but also for skills tracking, Co-Op, course selection, university planning, and post-secondary destination planning, ensuring that no student falls through the cracks.

At InnovOak, we have redefined the role of guidance counsellors to serve as mentors and coaches who support students holistically. Unlike traditional guidance counsellors found in public high schools, our Guidance Coaches take a proactive approach to help students develop the skills, work ethic, and social competencies needed for success in academics, employment, and citizenship.
